Moving Trumpet Communications brings the first interactive advertising concept in Delhi

Fulfilling the dream of every brand advertiser, Moving Trumpet Communications introduces the interactive advertising concept utilising the free time of the customer riding in Radio taxis while commuting. 850 Mega cabs with the medium will be launched and
moving in the city on July 1, 2012.

Moving Trumpet Communications interactive is New Delhi’s first 3G based radio taxi entertainment system service. Interactive Taxi Advertising provides a unique platform for a marketer giving him an opportunity to Engage, Interact and deliver to a prime and scalable audience.

Partnering with MEGA that pioneered the concept of Radio Taxis in India MTC interactive is being introduced on a fleet of 850 Premium Radio Taxis operating out of the busiest Airport in India, Indira Gandhi Terminal 3 and handles Corporate Travel for various organisations. With 850 systems rolling on these Premium Radio Taxis, the systems will be viewed by over 10,000 passengers daily.

"Interactive taxi advertising has been used by marketers across the world for its efficiency. It works very well for marketers as they get a platform to interact and engage difficult-to-reach demographic of urban consumers who are on the move with limited time to consume other forms of media. With journeys lasting over 40-45 minutes it gives ample time to absorb in-depth media messages with few distractions, assuring higher rates of absorption and recall," said CEO Gautam Bhirani.

Vishal Gupta, Chairman & Founder, Moving Trumpet, "With radio taxi business booming in India and with the 3G technology available now it is the right time to offer this unique platform to the marketers in India. Scalibility plays a very important role in this medium, overseas it has worked very well because of the large fleets and with Mega Cabs we get great numbers making it a viable marketing tool."

Kunal Lalani, MD Group Mega, commented, "Radio taxis across the world have been using this medium. It adds value to the fleet and also generates additional revenue through advertising. We are looking forward to exploring this medium in association with Moving Trumpet Communications."

The medium is truly unique exposure opportunity with a key and hard to reach target audience that delivers quantified result and limit media wastage. Smartly conceptualised, MTC interactive will have fresh video content from its digital content partner - Indo-Asian News Service. Commenting on the same Mahesh Daga, CEO, Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) said, "For us, this is an exciting new platform for delivering news and entertainment content. It adds to the repertoire of mediums we serve, spanning print, internet, radio, SMS and television."

"Consumers will love the visual and text content provided by IANS, a market leader in the digital content space in India, and advertisers will find this an equally compelling medium to make their pitch and reach out to a highly-targeted and focused audience," he added.
