Jacques Rivoal to Head Volkswagen Group France; Marie Christine Caubet to retire

Jacques Rivoal (54) will become President of Volkswagen Group France, effective January 2, 2013. He takes over from Marie Christine Caubet (61), who is set to retire.

Jacques Rivoal joined the Volkswagen Group in 2010. His professional career began at
Renault in 1984. He was primarily active in distribution, holding various positions in France up to 1996, and served as General Manager for Renault/Nissan in Germany from 2000. From 2009 Rivoal was responsible for the market region Europe prior to joining the Volkswagen Group in 2010 as Head of Volkswagen Passenger Cars at Volkswagen Group France.

Marie Christine Caubet began her professional career with Renault in 1973. She started as a financial analyst and later served as General Manager, Regional Director and Managing Director there. In 2000, Caubet became responsible for the market region Europe as Senior Vice-President before joining the Volkswagen Group in 2009, where she was appointed President of Volkswagen Group France.

Marie Christine Caubet has led Volkswagen Group France with considerable success for four years, and Jacques Rivoal is set to continue on this course.
