BlueMotion Technology also in the up! now

BlueMotion Technology makes its way into the up! As of now, Volkswagen extends the engine line-up for the city specialist by two especially environmentally-friendly engines.

The two fuel-efficient 1.0-litre engines (44 kw/60 ps and 55 kw/75 ps) in the up!
are also available now with the particularly eco-friendly BlueMotion Technology. It contains a stop/start system as well as battery regeneration and, in conjunction with the body lowered by 15 mm, makes for a combined fuel consumption of only 4.1 l/100 km (60 ps) and 4,2 l/100 km (75 ps). The CO2 emission is only 96 g (60 ps) and 98 g (75 ps). This means a reduction of consumption by up to 0.5 litre or the equivalent of up to 10 g less of CO2 per 100 km (55 kw/75 ps). The technology package in turn goes for an additional price of only 400 euros.

In addition, there are two design highlights as new optional features in the up! - The panoramic sliding sunroof, electrically adjustable and opening wide, creates an interior ambience suffused with light and plenty of fresh air. It can be ordered immediately and costs 880 euros.

The interior values are boosted by the so-called 'leatherette pack' - It includes a leather steering wheel, hand brake lever and gear shift grip also in leather and heated front seats in leather look with white decorative stitching. The leatherette pack is available from the move up! equipment version onward at a price of 760 euros.
