California holidays from £379 a month with free servicing

If you’ve ever dreamed of a campervan to cruise to Cornwall or the beaches of Biarritz, then Volkswagen’s latest finance offer can turn your dreams into a reality. A new Volkswagen California is available until March 31 with free servicing for three years

or 30,000 miles (whichever is sooner) from only £379 a month with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Solutions (PCP), or hire purchase rates from 3.99 per cent.

Volkswagen is unique as the only automotive manufacturer to produce its own camper. And just like the iconic models from its heritage, today’s California is compact enough to be used every day, yet turns into a camper within minutes thanks to a pop-up roof, two double beds, window blinds and its own fold-away chairs and table discreetly stored in the rear tailgate and side door.

The new California Beach is available with seats for up to seven people, with front seats that swivel to face the rear to create a cosy lounge. This model has a choice of two of Volkswagen’s refined common rail 2.0-litre TDI engines, offering 140 PS or for added efficiency, a 114 PS BlueMotion Technology model, with prices from £34,970. 

The California range also includes an SE model with additional equipment such as a wardrobe and kitchen complete with sink, fridge and onboard tanks for fresh and waste water. The California SE starts from £43,575 and is available with 140 PS or 180 PS engines, manual and DSG transmissions, and 4Motion all-wheel drive.
