These include an exclusive tour of the new, state-of-the-art $450-million Ford Thailand Manufacturing plant to see the latest world-class technologies and quality processes, a personalised invitation to an interactive consumer experience with the all-new Ford Focus, and four complimentary tickets to Ford’s planned 'Go Further' celebration party.

The all-new Ford Focus comes packed with a new Duratec 2.0-litre Ti-VCT GDi engine, combining high-pressure gasoline direct injection (GDi) and twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) for enhanced performance and fuel efficiency.

An all-new Ford Focus Duratec 1.6-litre Ti-VCT model will also available later, delivering class-leading fuel economy and emissions levels.

“The all-new Ford Focus underscores our commitment to providing our customers with outstanding vehicles that are segment-leaders in quality, fuel efficiency, safety, smart design and value," said Joe Hinrichs, President, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa.

"The next-generation Focus is packed with class-leading technologies and innovations designed to put the fun, comfort and excitement back into driving,” added Hinrichs.

The all-new Ford Focus is the second of eight all-new global One Ford vehicles to be introduced to ASEAN markets by mid-decade, helping to further expand Ford's footprint in the booming region.

Distinguished by its sleek and sporty design, the all-new Ford Focus is equipped with more affordable smart technologies and features than ever in this segment, including Ford SYNC nds-free, voice-activated in-car connectivity system.

Other smart features that assist the driver, many of which are a first-in-segment, with some being first-in-market for ASEAN, include Active Park Assist, Active City Stop, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Smart Keyless Entry.

Full lineup of Ford vehicles
Ford’s full display of vehicles at the Bangkok Show will include the expanded line-up of its class-leading Ford Fiesta, including the recently launched and premium equipped five-door Ford Fiesta 1.6L Ti-VCT Sport Ultimate.

This new top-of-the-line Fiesta series model features a host of class-leading smart technologies and safety features, such as a first-in-segment seven-airbag configuration and cruise control.

Ford has also added the 1.5L Ti-VCT with six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission to the Fiesta lineup, giving Thai consumers even more choice and more opportunity to connect with this class-leading small car.

The Ford Fiesta 1.5L Ti-VCT with six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission qualifies for Thailand’s First Car Owner policy.

“Thai consumer choice under the First Car Owner policy will now include the Fiesta 1.5L Ti-VCT with six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission, which delivers class-leading fuel economy,” said Peter Fleet, President, Ford ASEAN.

Also on display will be the full range of the class-defining, globally-engineered all-new Ford Ranger, which has met with extraordinary demand since it was launched in Thailand in December, with customer bookings of more than 13,000 units to date.

The all-new Ranger redefines the pickup truck segment by combining the toughness and capability of a pickup truck with smart technology, outstanding safety, excellent fuel economy, quality and comfort.

Ford will use the Bangkok Show for the ASEAN preview of the Australian-built Ford Territory premium SUV to gauge customer interest and the feasibility of a local market introduction.

The new Ford Territory is a seven-seat crossover, equipped with a 2.7LTDCi V6 turbo-diesel engine with six-speed automatic transmission.

The stand will also feature an upgraded Ford Everest, as well as the Ford Escape and current Ford Focus.

Interactive Displays
Ford will pull out all stops at the Bangkok Show to wow show-goers with an array of interactive displays at its stand.

An interactive ‘Focus Theatre’ transforms the windscreen of the all-new Focus into a movie screen which will allow visitors to experience the class-leading smart technologies of the all-new Focus while enjoying the comfort of its interior.

A Ford SYNC display unit will give visitors a hands-on experience of this award-winning, hands-free technology system, allowing visitors to connect almost any mobile phone or digital media player to their Focus via Bluetooth and USB connection respectively. The driver is then able to make calls or play their favourite music via voice commands.

“SYNC is a transformational technology, and is just one of the many ways we will continue to connect with new-to-Ford customers with vehicles that are class-leading in design, quality, safety, fuel efficiency, smart technology, and unmatched value,” said Saroj Kiatfeungfoo, Vice-President, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford Thailand.

Special Motor Show Offers
Ford will also offer a range of other special deals at the Motor Show, with free one-year first class insurance provided with all customer bookings for the Ford Fiesta, including the recently launched Ford Fiesta 1.5L Ti-VCT.

Pricing for the Fiesta 1.5L Trend model is Bt 644,000 for the four-door version and Bt 654,000 for the five-door variant, with the Fiesta 1.5L Sport model priced at Bt 689,000 for the sedan and Bt 699,000 for the hatchback.

Additionally, Ford will provide free one-year, first-class insurance with the all-new Ford Ranger XLT models, the Ford Everest SUV, and the current Ford Focus Sport+ and Ghia+ models.

Due to the incredible demand for the all-new Ranger Wildtrak models, and delays in the supply and delivery of these models because of the Thai flood crisis, Ford will not take bookings for Wildtrak models at the Motor Show.
