Ford has claimed Best Small Car for the Fiesta and Best Lower Medium Car for the Focus in the prestigious annual Fleet News Awards.

Fleet News Editor Stephen Briers said on behalf of the judging panel, “An ever-popular car with excellent running costs, the
Fiesta covers all the fleet bases: driver appeal, good manufacturer support, strong residual values, great to drive and an excellent design that has stood the test of time.”

Of the Focus, he added, “It has low running costs, is great to look at and drive and is backed by excellent support from the manufacturer and its retailers. The Focus also brings premium technology to the mass market by offering relevant safety innovations at an affordable price."

A panel made up of fleet industry experts and members of the Fleet News editorial team was involved in the lengthy judging process, chaired by former SMMT Chief Executive Christopher Macgowan and audited by Deloitte.
