Maserati is new main sponsor of the 31st Turin Film Festival

The partnership between Maserati and the world of cinema continues. The House of the Trident confirms its participation as official sponsor of the 31st Turin Film Festival taking place from November 22-30 2013, after the recent debut as main sponsor of the 70th Venice International
Film Festival.

A unique soundtrack, composed by the roar of the engines of the new Quattroporte and Ghibli, will accompany the actors and directors in their connections between the Agnelli Auditorium in Lingotto, theatre of the inaugural ceremony, and the eleven venues provided for projections of over one hundred films that will be presented in Turin.

The new Quattroporte, flagship of the Trident Marque, represents the sixth generation of the model born in 1963. The executive saloon is bigger and lighter than its predecessor and combines unquestionable luxury and sportiness.

The Ghibli is the first model in the history of Maserati in the Premium Executive E-segment, as well as the first car of the Trident brand to feature a diesel engine, designed by former Head of Engines of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team, Paolo Martinelli. It is also available with twin turbo V6 petrol engines of 330 and 410 hp.

By sponsoring the 31st Turin Film Festival, Maserati consolidates its historical relationship with the world of cinema, which started with 'Cronaca di un amore' (Story of a love affair), the 1950 film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. Protagonists of the film were the wonderful Lucia Bosè and an equally elegant Maserati A6 1500, the first granturismo of the House of the Trident.
