Owsianski takes over as Executive Director of Skoda Marketing and Sales in China

Thomas Owsianski (46) takes over as Executive Director of Skoda Marketing and Sales Business at Shanghai Volkswagen, with effect from February 1, 2014. His responsibilities are to include the Skoda brand's marketing, sales and aftersales activities in China.

Owsianski has many years of international experience in senior marketing and sales positions in the automotive industry. Since December 2012, and most recently, he has been responsible for Sokda's global marketing activities.

"That our top marketing manager is assuming responsibility for Sales and Marketing in China emphasises the importance of the market to our company," said Skoda CEO Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland.

Owsianski succeeds Paul Willis, who taking over as Managing Director for the Volkswagen Group in the UK.
