Matt Buckley joins Boughton Engineering as Service & Parts Manager

Boughton Engineering, Britain's longest established manufacturer of skip loaders and hook loaders, has appointed well-known industry figure, Matt Buckley as its new Service & Parts Manager, based at Wolverhampton. Matt has a long and distinguished track
record in the waste industry, having worked over time in senior management roles for some of the mainstream specialist equipment manufacturers and providers, plus the big hire fleet operations.

"We are delighted to have Matt on board. He has a deep understanding of the sector, the equipment it uses - and, most importantly, a firsthand personal experience of the pressures and demands which are on operators in the sector, particularly the hire fleets. Getting service and parts right is a key priority for any manufacturer - and I am very confident that our established and rapidly growing customer base will find Matt very much a person with whom they can do business," said Steve Price, Skan Group Sales & Marketing Director.

Matt Buckley added, "I am really excited to be joining Boughton Engineering at such a dynamic time in the company's history. Currently, the factory is breaking all records in terms of throughput and with that, particularly in the waste industry, goes an expectation that down time is minimal - and that the support systems are in place to respond quickly and efficiently."

Matt Buckley lives in Redditch, Worcestershire. After a short military career, he remained in the Territorial Army until 1994. He has worked in the waste related sector for over thirty years.
