Seat announces the winning project for its future digital museum

Seat has selected the winning project for its future digital museum at Archithon, a hackathon inspired contest with the participation of 20 students from Spanish schools of architecture and another 20 from German schools. The students worked in teams for
48 hours in Barcelona's OneOcean Club using the guidelines provided by the company. The authors of the winning proposal are Anton Sahler (Technische Universität Darmstadt), Ksymena Borczynska (University of Kassel) and Patricia Loges (Technische Universität Berlin), who submitted an original, innovative idea to showcase the history of the company.

"The winning project is based on a cloud that can travel freely from one city to another. We think it's a very international concept that perfectly matches our brand values and explains the history of Seat in a very original manner." The authors of the best three projects will receive a cash prize and the architects of the overall winning project will continue to work on it in further detail over the next few days. Seat will implement the selected project and plans to have the digital museum up and running in September," said Christian Stein, Seat Marketing Director and Archithon jury member .

It's great news that companies like Seat are organising initiatives like this one and making a commitment to talented students. We can't wait to start developing our project and watch it become a reality in the next few months," said Patricia Loges, one of the winners.

Seat's future digital museum will summarise the companys history since its foundation in 1950 and provide an insight into its future direction. It will feature multipurpose spaces and a guided tour of the most representative models in its collection, as well as a gallery of the professionals who have helped make the company's progress possible.
