Rory Harvey appointed CMD of Vauxhall Motors and CEO Opel Ireland

Rory Harvey (47) has been appointed to the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Vauxhall Motors and CEO Opel Ireland. He succeeds Tim Tozer who has decided to leave the company and pursue his career outside of General Motors.

Rory Harvey has wide
experience within GM's European operations, working in several areas of Sales and Aftersales. In his recent position, he was Executive Director Sales, Opel Europe, based at the Opel headquarters in Ruesselsheim, Germany.

Rory Harvey is a British national and joined the company in 1989. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University. Rory Harvey will report to Peter Kuespert, Vice-President Sales & Aftersales and Member of the Board Opel Group.

"Rory has a profound knowledge of the British car market, a wealth of experience within Vauxhall and Opel and excellent management qualities.
