Unprecedented response to the Shreyans Hall at Auto Expo 2012

The Shreyans Hall at Delhi Auto Expo 2012 received an overwhelming response from the visitors. With iconic brands like Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), Ducati, Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche on display, the Shreyans Hall was one of the most visited
displays. Over 200,000 automobile enthusiasts visited the display to see their favorite brands and more than 250 enquiries were received from interested buyers.

Commenting on the response, Ashish Chordia, Chairman, Shreyans said, “It is heartening to see the overwhelming response of the visitors visiting our hall at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The response reaffirms our belief that there is huge enthusiasm and curiosity for our products making India an important market for all the brands we represent – BRP, Ducati, Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche.”

Shreyans Hall had the following products on display with the Can Am Spyder, the Ferrari California, Porsche Cayenne, Maserati Quattroporte and the Ducati Monster 795 generating a lot of interest.

Ferrari California
The Ferrari California is a car with the track in its DNA. Featuring the first V8 in the history of Ferrari road-cars to be mid-front mounted built entirely from aluminium, it retains the typical Ferrari architecture with a 90° angle between the two cylinder banks and a 180° angle between the cranks. The engine has a total displacement of 4,300 cc and a maximum power output of 460 hp/338 kW at 7,750 rpm. With a specific powerof 107 hp/litre, its maximum torque is 485 Nm (49 kgm) at 5000 rpm, 75 per cent of which is available at just 2,250 rpm. The Ferrari California takes less than 4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and delivers a blistering 310 km/h top speed. Its starting price is Rs. 2.27 crore (ex-showroom).
Ferrari FF
The revolutionary FF is the most powerful and versatile car Ferrari has ever built. This four-wheel drive four-seater with a mid-front V12 and 660 hp offers a completely new take on the sporting Grand Tourer theme. It is not only the first ever Ferrari with four-wheel drive, but, more significantly, a model that hails a major break with  the past, effortlessly melding extreme sports car performance with the versatility and  usability of a genuine GT and boasting an extremely innovative design. Its starting price is Rs. 3.42 crore (ex-showroom).

Maserati Quattroporte
The award-winning Quattroporte continues to be a strong and consistent performer for Maserati, both in its sales and in its on-road performance. The range begins with the Quattroporte, moves into the Quattroporte S, with its 4.7-litre V8  engine, and is headlined by the flagship sports sedan, the Quattroporte Sport GT S. The  performance flagship of the four-door range is the Quattroporte Sport GT S. With its sports  exhaust system freeing up more power, the 4.7-litre V8 boasts 323 kW (440 hp) of power at 7000 rpm, the Quattroporte Sport GT S retains the Quattroporte S’s 490 Nm of torque, but  directs its performance more aggressively.  Starting price: INR 1.2 Crore (ex-showroom).

Maserati GranCabrio
Acclaimed by the motoring press as one of the world’s most beautiful cars, the Maserati GranCabrio has been a sales success in every market, meeting or exceeding its sales targets worldwide. This configuration of the naturally aspirated engine produces 331 kW (450 hp and has 510 Nm at the peak of its rich, thick torque curve. The top speed of the GranCabrio Sport is 285 km/h and the 0-100 km/h sprint is now reduced to 5.2s. This six-speed automatic transmission includes the super-fast MC Auto Shift software and has been developed for the GranCabrio Sport directly from the transmission in the Quattroporte Sport GT S. Its starting price is Rs. 1.43 crore (ex-showroom).

BRP Can Am Spyder
The Can-Am roadster has been turning heads the world over since BRP brought it to market in 2007. Both the Can-Am roadster sport (RS) and touring (RT) models have changed the way powersports enthusiasts see their driving experience. With a host of automotive and onboard technologies, it drives nothing like a motorcycle and offers the rider a totally new experience. This is the first time a BRP product was on display in India.

Ducati
Winner of 15 World Superbike Championship, 18 Riders’ titles and 16 Manufacturers’ titles, Ducati produces some of the finest bikes the world has ever seen. On display will be the Superbike range, Multistrada range, Monster range and the Diavel range of motorcyles. In addition to these models, a brand new 2012 Ducati Monster 795 model, developed exclusively for Asia, was unveiled on January 6th.

Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid
With its five derivates, including a diesel version, the Porsche Cayenne represents the most important model for India. This Sports Utility Vehicle redefines levels of comfort, luxury, performance and sporting finesse within its class. On display was  the Cayenne S Hybrid, its starting price is Rs. 76 lakh (ex-showroom).

Porsche 911 Carrera
No sports car is as technologically groundbreaking as the 911. 'Better always works', that is the motto of Porsche engineers, who, in 48 years, have developed and improved the most varied models of this sports car. And customers know to value it - they have remained true to the 911 in all of its evolutionary phases and will continue to do so. Its starting price is Rs. 1.1 crore (ex-showroom).
