Bentley announces Kevin Rose as new Sales and Marketing Director

Bentley Motors has announced the appointment of Kevin Rose as its new Member of the Board for Sales and Marketing. Rose joins Bentley from Volkswagen Automotive in China where he held the role of Executive Vice-President for Sales at FAW-Volkswagen
Joint-Venture. He succeeds Alasdair Stewart who takes up a new role as Skoda UK’s Brand Director.

Kevin Rose has extensive international sales experience gained during a 30 year career with Volkswagen Group brands. In his most recent role at the FAW-Volkswagen Joint-Venture he increased sales, developed the network and strengthened the Volkswagen brand position in China. Prior to this he was based at Volkswagen Group’s head office in Wolfsburg, where as Executive Director – Sales for the Volkswagen brand he was responsible for sales in North and South America and key global markets outside Europe including Russia and India. Kevin also has significant experience within the UK automotive industry having previously acted as Managing Director of Seat UK and subsequently Audi UK where he was renowned for improving the company’s brand image and closing the sales gap between Audi and rivals BMW and Mercedes.

Kevin, who is 55, is a native of Great Britain and will commence his new role on May 1, 2012.
