Kelly Ashbridge joins Kia Press Office

Kia Motors (UK) Limited welcome Kelly Ashbridge to the Press Office as the successful candidate in their 12-month Student Placement Scheme.

Kelly joins the Weybridge-based team from the University of Northumbria, where she is enrolled on the
BSc Communications and Public Relations degree.

Originally from Carlisle, the 20 year old said about her placement, "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work in such a highly regarded Press Office. To be offered this placement is a blessing, as the application process is very competitive and I know students in similar roles at different companies will not be offered the same incredible experiences that I will be. I am excited at the prospect of learning, working hard and growing within this environment to prepare me for my future and be a good representative for Kia."

Kelly is taking over from previous placement student Millie Allen, who has worked in the Kia Press Office since last July and left a lasting impression on the team.

Announcing Kelly's recent appointment, Stephen Kitson, Communications Director at Kia, said, "I think everyone knows just what a great job Millie has done with us over the last 12 months and we wish her every success back at Leeds Metropolitan University; but I am certain that Kelly is going to bring fresh ideas and a new approach and we look forward to her contributing tremendously during her time with us."
