Infiniti inaugurates its first dealership in Chile

Infiniti continues its global expansion with its first foray into South America, via Chile. The brand inaugurated its dealership at Santiago's exclusive Lo Barnechea district, home to some of the world's most prestigious luxury brands.

Infiniti's showroom in Santiago boasts the
brand's philosophy of great design and a superlative customer service focused on a 'Total Ownership Experience'. It was also built to meet LEED environmental standards (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design). The structure spans 1,750 sq mt and required more than 120-tons of steel, 2,620-tons of concrete and 700 sq mt of glass.

"We are pleased to present Infiniti's tradition of Inspired Performance to Chile, an open market that knows luxury very well and where the world's top brands compete head-to-head," said Ken Ramirez, Vice-President and Managing Director for Infiniti Latin America and the Caribbean. He added, "We are confident that our local partner, SKBerge Group, will deliver on Infiniti's promise of impeccable customer service and an outstanding Total Ownership Experience."

"Infiniti's commitment to adrenaline-generating performance, whether on the Formula 1 racetrack or during a daily commute, will appeal to customers that demand the very best automotive experiences," added Jose Luis Montiel, Director of Infiniti Mexico and Latin America.

SKBerge's Chief Executive Officer, Francisco Errazuriz, said, "Infiniti offers a unique luxury experience that includes great automotive design, exhilarating performance and advanced technology. We are grateful for the confidence placed in us to represent such a premium brand and deliver a service and hospitality level that has earned Infiniti accolades around the world."

Infiniti's vehicle portfolio in Chile includes the G coupe, sedan and convertible, along with the M sedan, EX and FX crossovers.

Infiniti currently is driving a global expansion. It is present in 47 markets and the number is expected to rise to more than 70 by 2016. In Latin America, Infiniti has showrooms in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico and – as of September 2012 – in Chile.
