"We saw sales strength across the entire Ford line-up, from the fuel-sipping Focus to the capable F-150," said Craig. "Fuel economy continues to be a key purchase consideration for consumers and we are offering them the power of choice with the EcoBoost engines, hybrid vehicles and plug-in hybrids."

In fact, 88 per cent of Escapes sold last month and 39 per cent of F-150s sold in October were equipped with EcoBoost engines. The EcoBoost engine gives consumers the combination of powerful performance and great fuel efficiency.
