Volvo Cars of North America announces increase of 9.3 per cent in January sales

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported US sales of 4,875 units, a 9.3 per cent increase month-over-month and the best January since 2008.

The S60 sports sedan, one of two mid-size luxury vehicles to earn IIHS' inaugural Top Safety Pick+ award, was the top seller
for the month with 1,954 units sold, a 38.1 per cent increase from January 2012.
