Infiniti reports decrease of 12.7 per cent in US sales for June 2013

Infiniti reported US sales of 9,114 units for the month of June, a decrease of 12.7 per cent versus 10,436 units a year earlier. Calendar year-to-date Infiniti sales of 52,233 vehicles are down 3.9 per cent compared to the 54,377 units sold during the same
period last year.

The Infiniti JX continued to have strong sales in June, and the 7-passenger luxury crossover has had 14,783 sales so far in 2013, contributing to Infiniti's crossover and sport utility vehicle sales increase of 21.8 per cent for the year. The Infiniti G Sedan saw sales of 3,659 in June, as the company prepares for the all-new Infiniti Q50 which will go on sale later this summer.

"Our customers and retailers are anxious for the arrival of the Infiniti Q50 luxury sport sedan later this summer," said Ben Poore, Vice-President of Infiniti Americas. "The pre-sell program we announced in late March was extremely successful, and we have more than 3,500 customers already signed up to take delivery of the all-new Q50 when it goes on sale."
