Rolls-Royce Wraith makes its Bahrain debut

Wraith, the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history, made its eagerly-anticipated debut in Bahrain at Euro Motors, the sole dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the Kingdom.

With
an elegant fastback design and the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, the 624 bhp-model from the world's pinnacle super-luxury marque presents a unique character defined by power, style and drama, and a hint of the noir, while maintaining the hallmark. Rolls-Royce attributes of luxury, refinement and hand-craftsmanship.

"Today we launch the ultimate gentleman's gran turismo, a car that embodies the spirit of Charles Stewart Rolls," said Geoffrey Briscoe, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Regional Director, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. "The most powerful Rolls-Royce in history, Wraith promises the sense of adventure and speed that drove our founding forefather. But of course, Wraith's starting point is luxury, refinement and quality - traits that remain as important to Rolls-Royce customers today as they were more than a century ago."

"Sir Henry Royce, one of the founding fathers of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, "Take the best that exists and make it better: when it does not exist, design it." These words resonate with Wraith because it is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever; the most dynamic Rolls-Royce with the boldest styling. However it is every inch a refined and luxurious model. But there is also an element of the noir, a sense that this is an edgier car than Ghost, or any other car in the Rolls-Royce line-up," Briscoe added.

"Despite being revealed for the first time today, Wraith is already an astounding success in Bahrain. Our limited allocations for 2013 are completely sold out and the order books are looking very healthy. Wraith will definitely attract a new demographic to the brand, it is a car that will appeal to a slightly younger audience, and one that will quickly establish itself as the ultimate gentleman's gran tourismo," said Paul Yates, General Manager of Euro Motors.

"The fact that this year we celebrate a decade of successful collaboration between Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Euro Motors makes it an even more prestigious occasion, and we are delighted to now unveil it in the region," Yates added.

First deliveries of Wraith will be made to customers in the final quarter of 2013.
