Citroen appoints Jeremy Smith as Head of Commercial Vehicles & Business Sector Operations

With effect from March 1, 2014, Jeremy Smith is appointed as Citroen UK's new Head of Commercial Vehicles & Business Sector Operations. Jeremy takes over from Scott Michael, who is leaving Citroen to join Motability Operations as Conversions & Adaptations
Relationship Manager.


Currently Head of Sales Programmes for Citroen in the UK, Jeremy Smith (51) brings 21 years' of experience with the brand to his new role. He has worked in a variety of fleet and retail sales roles, as well as finance, product marketing and Retail Group positions. Based at Citroen UK's Coventry headquarters, Jeremy will work closely with Gillian Blair, Denis Golden, Andrew Hibbs and Jeff Rodger - the field-based team of Regional Business Centre Managers - and a new Commercial Vehicle & Business Programmes Manager. This is a new position and an appointment will be announced shortly.

Jeremy, a Business Studies graduate of De Montford University in Leicester, is married with two children and lives near Oakham in the East Midlands. His main interest, outside of work, is motor sport and he is a member of the British Automobile Racing Club and, as a licensed MSA Clerk of the Course, officiates at race meetings across the country.

LCVs and our Business Centre network are playing a key role in Citroen's growing success with fleet operators and Small, Medium Enterprises, which are the backbone of the UK economy. Citroen LCV sales for January have seen the brand take a record market share in the up to 3.5-tonne gvw sector and we will be launching new products and services in our Business Centre network to maintain this progress," said Jeremy.
