Scott Mansell to head up Caterham Experience

Caterham Cars has appointed professional racing driver, Scott Mansell, to head up its Caterham Experience department as Business Development Manager.

Mansell, 28, has 20 years of motorsport experience; still holding fastest lap records at the UK's
Donington Park, Silverstone National and Brands Hatch Indy circuits.

Starting out in karts in the early 1990s Scott quickly climbed the motorsport ladder winning the EuroBOSS F1 Championship and being nominated for the BRDC's Young Driver of the Year Award - won that year by Paul di Resta. More recently Scott has taken on development roles with cars from Ferraris to F1s.

Having worked with Caterham since 2009, Mansell knows the Caterham Experience well and has been part of the Caterham Drift demonstration team, as well as a development driver for Caterham's range of road cars.

"I'm very excited to be joining Caterham as Business Development Manager for the Caterham Experience; for me, the Seven is the ultimate, accessible British sportscar and is the perfect model to demonstrate drifting, high speed laps and ultimately, the most exhilarating driving sensation. I am focused on ensuring that customers have the purest, most fun and adrenaline-fuelled experience they'll ever have in a car. I will also be working on creating unique, high-end events for our corporate clients," said Mansell.
