Skoda manufactures 100,000th Citigo at Bratislava plant

At the Volkswagen factory in Bratislava the 100,000th Skoda Citigo rolled-off the production line. The brand's first city car was launched at the end of 2011, and has enjoyed a successful market presence ever since. The model woos with its generous space, smart
solutions, low fuel consumption, high level of safety, perfect handling, neat design, and it is great value for money.

"The 100,000 Citigos produced since 2011 show how well our 'little car' is doing in the market," said Werner Eichhorn, Skoda Board Member for Sales and Marketing. "With the Citigo, launched almost three years ago, we started the biggest model offensive our company has ever experienced. Since then, our smart minicar has enriched the growing city car segment and attracted new customers to the brand. The Citigo strengthens our position within the European market and we're really pleased with our model."
