Mazda Motors UK announces PR changes

Mazda UK has restructured the PR team. Alison Terry, who has been in PR for five years, has taken a 12 month developmental role in marketing and is now responsible for dealer communications. Alison joined the PR team in 2009 from the marketing department;
in those five years she has developed her PR skills to become an incredibly valuable member of the team.

The second change is Lois Cavanagh. Lois joined us two years ago as an intern, after a year her contribution was such that we extended her internship. Lois will be responsible for press website, our heritage fleet and photography along with assisting on press releases, press packs and social media.

The final change is the addition of Owen Mildenhall to the Mazda UK PR team. Owen joins from Auto Express but is no stranger to Mazda having been a regular driver for our race programme since 2005.  Owen will replace Alison as Senior Press Officer and will be responsible for all writing needs along with developing lifestyle PR programme, brand ambassadors, motorsport and social media. For the last 10 years Owen has been a road tester for Auto Express, driving everything from the very cheap to the very expensive, and so has an extensive knowledge of the industry. Owen brings with him a wealth of experience having been at the receiving end of PR from all manufacturers over the last decade as well as an in depth knowledge of the automotive media. His writing and creative skills will be a real asset in this busy period.
