Magnificent milestone for Mercedes-Benz - 100,000 vehicles covered by Service Contracts

Mercedes-Benz UK has reached the milestone of having 100,000 vehicles on active Service Contracts, with vehicles from smart through to New Actros now covered.

From the start of 2012, Mercedes-Benz has already added more than 15,000 cars, vans and trucks to its
already impressive number of vehicle owners covered by a Service Contract, highlighting that even during difficult economic conditions in the UK, drivers recognise the importance of keeping their vehicles well maintained more than ever before.

Mercedes-Benz Service Care Plans for passenger cars cover the costs of two, three or four consecutive services, and covers labour, Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts and fluids cost for the manufacturer recommended service content. Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Complete Contracts cover the costs for servicing, inspections and wear and tear repairs, and covers labour, Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts and fluids costs for the length of the contracts, with a number of additional options and cover available for both truck and van owners.

“Our customers understand the benefits of the Service Contracts and using Mercedes-Benz Official Workshops, qualified and highly-skilled specialist technicians and Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts. In addition, we are finding that our customers are enjoying the peace of mind that having a Service Care Plan or Complete Contract brings, by making it easier to have real control over their servicing, maintenance and repair costs and avoiding unexpected bills," said James Ostridge, Service Contracts Manager at Mercedes-Benz UK.

“We have launched a number of new and revised Service Contracts products in the last 16 months, and ensured that our pricing is simple to understand with a new and used monthly price for each model range, with no variation by body type or engine size. We will continue to ensure that all our Service Contracts offer real value for money for Mercedes-Benz owners,” he added.

All Mercedes-Benz vehicles are available for cover, including smart, AMG passenger cars, vans and trucks, with Service Care Plans starting from £19.99 per month for smart.
