Gujarat's automotive revolution triggers a specialised automotive manufacturing technology exhibition

The sixth edition of the 'Automotive Engineering Show (AES) 2012', International Exhibition on Technologies for automotive manufacturing will be held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India from November 22-24, 2012. Show is
organised by Focussed Events, a leading B2B exhibition organiser headquartered in Mumbai.

The event is strategically being held in Gujarat, India as Gujarat is on the way to becoming the Automobile hub of India. By 2015-16, nearly one of every three cars that roll out in the country could be from Gujarat. In fact, in the next five years, half the installed capacity for making cars in India will be located in the state. With car makers from Maruti Suzuki, Peugeot PSA, Ford India and Kia Motors, apart from the Tata and General Motors, making a beeline, the Gujarat government has cleared or is in advanced stages of negotiations for additional capacity to make nearly three-million cars per annum, starting 2014. This will create tremendous opportunities for the automotive & engineering sectors.

AES 2012 shall showcase specialised solutions for automotive manufacturing particularly systems, technology, equipment and processes. The event not only offers a platform for vehicle and auto-component companies to deploy appropriate technology but also gives an opportunity to providers of systems and processes to access latest products & technologies to optimise efficiency, quality and costs.
