Formula 1 OPUS makes a grand entry into India

Opus, the world's most pre-eminent luxury publication house, has made a grand entry into the Indian market with the global launch of the Official Formula 1 Opus. As Formula 1 fever is gripping the entire nation, timing couldn't have been
better to gift F1 fans and luxury connoisseurs a truly collector's item. Through a strategic alliance with RK Global, Opus continues to expand its presence in the Indian market.

The official launch was celebrated at an event co-hosted by Amit Bhagchandka, Group CEO, RK Global, Karl Fowler, CEO and Founder, Opus Media Group and was attended by Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. The evening was also attended by some of the country's best known personalities, including Bollywood celebrities, F1 drivers, cricketers, prominent faces from the fashion, business and political spheres and other discerning consumers of luxury brands, the event was a grand success.

The excitement levels amongst the guests touched new heights as Anil Kapoor signed the Official Formula 1 Opus #1 copy. At half-a-metre-square, 852 pages long and weighing in at 37 kg, The Official Formula 1 Opus is the biggest and heaviest publication ever on Formula One racing ever created. Each edition is lovingly hand-bound in the finest leather and silk, with over 50 per cent of the content newly and exclusively commissioned for the Opus.

There will be a limited number of only100 Champions Editions, which will include a signature page hand signed by every living world champion driver. This edition will be protected in a black carbon-fibre clamshell case and will be offered for UK £20,000.

The Official Formula 1Opus will be available in India in the following 2 editions: The Champions Edition (Price - £20,000) and The Classic Edition (Price - £2,000).

In addition bidding commenced for the much sought after Number 1 copy of the Official Formula 1 Opus as it embarks on a global tour visiting 20 countries around the world during the F1 calendar. The special Number 1 copy will be signed by VIPs from the world of Formula 1 and celebrity fans and ultimately returning to Delhi to be auctioned for a collection of charities back in Delhi during the 2013 Grand Prix weekend. The Number 1 copy will leave India this year with a starting bid of $100,000.
