Lee Wheeler takes Honda corporate role on permanent basis

Honda (UK) has confirmed that the temporary appointment of Lee Wheeler as Manager, Corporate Operations has been made permanent.

Lee been with the company for more than seven years, initially in Honda Finance and then as Manager, National
Leasing & SMR. He has also been Manager, Sales Support & Logistics and has more recently worked in Commercial & Business Planning.

Confirmation of Lee's role - originally announced as an interim measure on September 17 - comes at a crucial time for Honda (UK)'s Corporate Operations division. The arrival of the eagerly anticipated all-new 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine in the Civic means business drivers can benefit from a 94 g/km CO2 emissions Honda company car for the first time.

"I am delighted to be taking up the role permanently, Honda has always been a brand that offers the corporate market strong residuals and low SMR and whole life costs. Our new Civic 1.6 i-DTEC with its no compromise 120 ps for drivers while achieving low CO2 is just the start of series of new engines and products that will help satisfy even more Company Car Drivers and Fleet Managers," said Lee.
