All new flagship site for Kia in West London

Kia Motors UK Limited has agreed terms for a new West London retail facility to take the brand forward in the UK.

A highly prominent 'landmark' 1.1-acre site, fronting the A4 and M4 motorway in Brentford will be developed by Quadriga Real Estate Limited for the ever
expanding Kia brand. The site has been purchased with an existing planning consent for a multi-level retail motor dealership. Quadriga Real Estate will be submitting a planning application for a fully integrated, four storey, motor dealership building of approximately 3,831 sq m (41,237 sq ft).

"We are delighted to be developing this dramatic and exciting showcase facility for Kia. The design of the facility will fit well within the local area, but will also provide a superb statement for Kia. The design seeks to maximise the main attribute of the site...prominence!," said Rob Hilton of Quadriga Real Estate Limited.

With sales in the UK looking to hit over 65,000 by the end of 2012 the new building is set to highlight the 'onwards and upwards' approach of the manufacturer. "Having such a large and prominent dealership in this key London area will highlight to passing motorists and consumers that Kia Motors is definitely not slowing down. This new dealership will also bring much needed employment to the local area," said Simon Hetherington, Head of Dealer Development at Kia Motors.

The building will feature curved facades with a 'floating' upper showcase which will have fantastic visibility in each direction on the M4. On-site parking will be provided by multi-level car-park decks to the rear of the dealership. Completion of the new facility is scheduled for the end of 2014.
