Visteon presents latest innovations to enhance driving experience at Auto Shanghai 2013

Visteon Corporation displaying a range of innovative automotive products and technologies - all focused on improving the overall driving experience - at the 15th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2013) April 20-29.
Visteon is showcasing a range of cutting-edge solutions in climate, electronics and interiors from its family of enterprises, including its newly consolidated, majority-owned automotive climate business, Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp.

"As an Asian-centric company with a long and successful heritage of success and growth in China, Visteon is proud to participate in Auto Shanghai 2013 to demonstrate our broad global capabilities," said Tim Leuliette, Visteon President and CEO. "We have gained considerable industry recognition for our innovations that enhance the experience of drivers and passengers, while helping vehicle manufacturers differentiate their vehicles. This is evidenced by the fact that approximately 60 per cent of the new vehicles being launched at Auto Shanghai 2013 feature products from Visteon's family of businesses."

Visteon is highlighting its extensive innovations in climate, electronics and interiors through the latest vehicle concept, e-Bee. Making its Asia debut, the e-Bee is designed to explore new and alternative ways of using a vehicle in the year 2020. The concept incorporates the latest innovative technology – including display-based controls and Cloud-centered profile storage – and has drawn very positive reviews from automakers and media at recent shows in North America and Europe.

Fully compatible with electric vehicle and hybrid platforms, the e-Bee demonstrates intelligent mobility, where the vehicle gathers and disseminates useful driving-related data, acts as part of a wider mobility-enabling network, and integrates technology and design that is connected, simple and flexible.
