BMW Brazil informs customers about the recall of models with manufacturing between 2001 and 2003

The BMW of Brazil, reinforcing its commitment to ensure the safety of its customers, the vehicle owners summons models 320i/A, 325i/A, 325Ci/A, 330i/A, 330Ci/A, 330 SMG Motorsport M3 Coupe, manufactured between December 2001 and March 2003, to attend an
authorised dealership for verification and proof of the need to replace the airbag module's front seat passenger.

The recall happens because of the possibility, in case of severe frontal collision, the device is triggered inappropriately, not being discarded fire hazard and can cause damage and injury to the occupants and third parties. The seat belt with pre-tensioner, however, exercise its protective role. So far, no accidents were reported.
