At the 82nd Geneva Motor Show, Apollo Tyres will be launching its ultra high-performance summer passenger vehicle tyre, in W and Y speed ratings. The company will also be showcasing its entire range of tyres sold and available in Europe at the show.
In another significant development,
the latest tyre tests by German Motoring Association ADAC produced commendable results for all the 3 Apollo brands available in Europe - Apollo, Vredestein and Maloya. Out of the 15 tyre brands tested in the 165/70 R14 size, Apollo’s Amazer 3G Maxx ranks in the first 4. Amazer 3G Maxx shared top ratings, with another brand, on dry and wet performance with an impressive overall score of 2.3.
While Vredestein is sold across Europe, Apollo was introduced in Germany, UK, Italy and Netherlands last year. Given the high acceptance and success of both its summer and winter tyres in the passenger vehicle and 4x4 segments; plans are now on to expand Apollo’s markets into Switzerland, Austria and Denmark.
